About
We get anxious, sad, stuck, scared, and alone. Most people come to therapy to feel better, to find relief from pain for depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief and loss, relationship challenges. My approach as a trauma-informed therapist is to foremost facilitate a trusting relationship offering a safe environment that is essential for healing and transformation. In the atmosphere of acceptance and empathy, we will explore what's holding you back from being present to yourself and others in this moment of your life, we will work together to identify your strengths and help you reconnect to your innate power, joy and resiliency. I enjoy working with children and adolescents, adults and relationships, and have experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, life, work and identity transitions, end of life and chronic illness, immigration and refugee issues, spiritual emergence and abuse. My background is in holistic health and wellness, I have a lifelong passion for Vedic sciences and a dedicated spiritual practice. I earned my Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles with specialization in Spiritual and Depth Psychology and received training in somatic and nature based therapy. I am a certified NARM therapist and have extensive experience helping clients heal developmental and intergenerational trauma, C-PTSD. I provide therapy in Russian as well and enjoy working with multicultural clients. Making a choice to live an authentic and fulfilling life that you deserve and reaching out for help could be both powerful and scary. I am here for you, I encourage you to take that first step and reach out, and I look forward to meeting you. Irina Farber is a “Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist" and is currently working under supervision of a licensed practitioner.
