I am a licensed MFT in California with three years of experience as a psychotherapist and counselor, serving diverse Latino, Caucasian, Asian, and African-American clients. I have worked with clients with various concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, OCD, and ADHD. I also helped many people who have experienced trauma or emotional abuse. My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe humans are resilient, can resolve issues, and stand firm during life adversities. However, sometimes we need non-judgmental, empathetic support during these difficult times. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. My cultural background adds to my understanding of clients’ cultural upbringing. My approach combines mindfulness, CBT, ACT, humanistic, client-centered, and Solution-focused therapy. I believe each client is different and therefore employs an eclectic approach based on a client’s issues, expectations, and unique specific goals. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and take the first steps towards change. I am here to support and empower you if you are ready to take that step.
