Figuring life out is difficult and there are so many social factors that impact our reality. Whether it's depression, anxiety, adjusting to unforeseen or simply difficult life circumstances, sometimes the light at the end of the tunnel seems so far out. Coming to this point of looking for help is a good sign that the light is drawing closer. I have extensive experience working with people who have lived through trauma and my humanistic approach is a simple, down-to-earth way of providing people with support. Looking, thinking about, or ready to dive into whatever needs to be figured out, is half the battle. My specialty stems from a trauma-focused approach, client-centered therapy, and acceptance-and-commitment therapy. My biggest joy is seeing others thrive and transform into who they aspire to be. I believe change happens when we come to a point in our lives that we we've outgrown old habits, environments, and yearn for something different...usually, something better. Three words that describe my therapeutic style are: open-minded, non-judging, and compassionate.
