As a trauma-focused clinician and licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), I am deeply committed to supporting individuals on their journey towards healing and recovery. I am trained in EMDR, Somatic Integration and Processing 1&2 and I recently completed the requirements towards an EMDR certification. My therapeutic approach is grounded in creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore and process their traumatic experiences at their own pace. I prioritize building a strong therapeutic alliance based on trust, empathy, and understanding. Drawing from attachment theory, I emphasize the importance of fostering a sense of safety and connection with my clients, as I believe this lays the foundation for meaningful healing to occur. In addition to EMDR, I incorporate elements of ego states/IFS, polyvagal theory and coherence therapy in my practice. I strive for a holistic approach that takes into consideration the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit in the healing process. By addressing the somatic and emotional manifestations of trauma, I aim to support clients in achieving holistic well-being and empowerment. My goal is to empower clients to reclaim their narrative, cultivate resilience, and build a life that is meaningful and fulfilling. I am dedicated to walking alongside my clients on their healing journey, providing them with the tools, support, and guidance they need to thrive beyond their trauma.
