I am a Licensed Mental Health Therapist in Delaware with 10 years experience in the mental health field. I have worked with a variety of populations including the Severely Mentally Ill, clients suffering from depression and anxiety, stress management, low self esteem, substance use disorders, and trauma. One of my main objectives is to help my clients become the best version of themselves that they hope to see. My therapeutic style centers around building an authentic and genuine connection with my clients to ensure that they feel safe to be vulnerable and trust that I have their best interest at heart. I like to connect on a human level, not just therapist and client level. So often our feelings are invalidated and for this reason, my goal is to validate the feelings of my clients first-- and then progress forward. I do not GIVE my clients answers because my role is to GUIDE them to find their own. My approach can best be described in my favorite quote: "give a man a fish, you feed him for one night. Teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime.''
