I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Arizona. While obtaining my clinical hours, I worked in a variety of settings in order to gain the most experience and to determine the area that best fits my personality and ability. I spent a year working in a Substance Abuse Detox facility with a Level 1 psych facility (treating dual diagnoses). From there, I spent a year at the State Prison working with inmates with a variety of diagnoses and concerns; from substance use, to depression and anxiety, to destructive behavior. For the past 3 years, I have been working within the Native American Community to assist with issues such as: parenting, ADHD, sexual abuse, other trauma, historical trauma, cutting, peer pressure, oppositional defiance and many others.

As a clinician, I prefer to work alongside my clients on the journey to better outcomes. I have training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Dialectic Behavior Therapy, plus trauma training. I like to have a variety of knowledge available, but my ultimate goal is to meet my client's where they are and not have every session carved out to be inflexible. I allow my clients to express their thoughts as I guide them with questions and exploration to the answer that they already had inside, or help them think outside the box and explore possible solutions or new view points. My clients will find the environment to be relaxed and welcoming because it will be free of judgment and labeling.
