Hello,
I am a bilingual (Spanish- Speaking) Licensed Marriage and Family therapist with many years of experience in proving mental health and social services. I have had the privilege of working with a wide range population of diverse backgrounds. I strive to create a safe place for self-expression and partner with you on your journey.
I understand that in life we will encounter many ups, downs and unforeseen challenges that impact our wellness and mental health. I utilize a trauma informed, and culturally considerate approach to help you achieve your goals. I strongly believe in self-determination and empowerment, and I am passionate about quality client care.
I often draw from various modalities, but keep a client centered and strength-based perspective, while accounting for potential impact of social injustices. I take great care in tailoring my sessions to find best ways to approach your concerns and situation. I find that compassion and understating are crucial elements in building a great working relationship.
I enjoy working with adults and have extensive experience working with sexual trauma, intergenerational trauma, homelessness, addiction, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia.
