We hear so often that life is about fun and adventure yet how often is it filled with dread, fear, and emptiness. Perhaps you are struggling with workplace anxiety, maintaining relationships, or simply it is hard to feel happy and yourself. Many of my clients are young professionals with education and resources yet feel stymied and frustrated. I invite you to allow yourself to be authentic with yourself, give yourself room to breathe, and find solace in working together with someone who will never judge you and will give you unconditional support. While eclectic and borrowing from multiple modalities, I favor using acceptance and commitment therapy. We will utilize mindfulness meditation, defuse from our maladaptive thoughts, and embrace and commit to your values and sense of meaning. I also connect with Carl Rogers’ teachings that highlighted the beauty of a mutual journey in which therapist and client are fellow travelers learning from each other. I look forward to helping you find the answers that are dormant inside of you. Starting a therapeutic relationship may be intimidating but you’ll find that it will feel normal and natural once we start to get know each other. My rate is $200 per session and I assist with reimbursement from PPO plans.
