I am trained and experienced in both individual and group therapy. In both these venues I place my greatest value on the exploration and development of the relationship — the bond that’s developing between me and you, the client. This is because I feel that our relationship is the blood flow that will determine by its very health the success of whatever theories and interventions are employed.
I am a licensed therapist with over 20 years of experience working both abroad and in the US in vocational rehabilitation and individual and group psychotherapy. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, social anxiety, intimacy, life transitions, career challenges, and physical disability, among others.
From day one of our meetings I will make every effort to, non-intrusively, get a sense of you as a whole person, with integral parts that hold strengths and passions as well as disappointment and pain. Creating the kind of safety in our interactions that will allow us to be honest, genuine, and collaborative will build a foundation for courageously making inroads in becoming self aware, seeing options, and making life changes.
I am fortunate to be able to limit my case load in size leaving more time for thinking and planning creatively, for and with, those with whom I will have the pleasure to serve.
