My name is Honor, I am a clinical social worker (LCSW) who specializes in supporting adults who are experiencing social difficulties associated with depression, anxiety, trauma, communication and executive functioning barriers. I have spent my 5 year professional career establishing myself as an expert in diagnosis and support for adults on the autism spectrum as well as the diagnostic, behavioral, and treatment overlap with difficulties with sensory processing, obsessive compulsive, mood, personality, attention deficit/hyperactivity, and intellectual developmental disorders, sexuality and sexual dysfunction.

As a therapist I take a collaborative, person-centered approach to supporting my clients. My additional training in conceptual art practice (BFA) further informs my creative and flexible approach to each of my client's thinking and lifestyle. Although I readily provide psychoeducation on common patterns of behavior, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions, I consider you to be the expert on your life and maintain the tone of a peer rather than a lecturer or parent. I will follow your lead in identifying your hopes and expectations for the future and reconciling those with external pressures and personal history. In order to achieve your goals for therapy, I will use my clinical judgement to apply a variety of psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapies such as dialectical behavioral therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, self-psychology, positive psychology, and motivational interviewing.
