I am a Registered Art Therapist (ATR) with the national Art Therapy Credentialing Board, as well as a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida and (LPCC), in Ohio. I have my BA in Sociology from Kent State University and and my MA in Art Therapy and Counseling from Ursuline College. I have over 10 years experience helping individuals heal and grow through a combination of art making and and other creative therapies, as well as traditional talk therapy.
I have worked with children, adolescents and adults facing various mental health challenges, addiction, trauma and co-occuring disorders. I use an integrative approach combining creative Art Therapy, positive psychology, mindfulness, DBT, Adlerian humanistic psychology and existentialism, as well as various other modalities. On this online forum I hope to combine talk therapy with the possibility of art interventions for homework. I also enjoy working with clients who wish to engage in traditional therapy without the art component. I am happy to meet each client where they are, using whatever modality will best meet their needs. I love watching my my clients regain their power, move past trauma and self-defeating thoughts and behaviors, into healthy, joy-filled lives. Whatever issue you may be facing, whether from your past, or your current life, I know there is hope for a better, more peaceful future.
