About

I am a Professional Clinical Counselor licensed in Minnesota. I have over 6 years of experience in the field of mental health, ranging from government agency to hospital to private practice and, currently, non-profit. Throughout my years in the field I have worked with clients of all ages and to address a variety of concerns and issues, including anxiety, depression, anger and impulsivity, trauma, Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental disorders, and parenting and family issues.

I began my career in counseling in 2013 when I entered my second master’s program at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ. I graduated with a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling in 2017 and obtained full licensure in 2019. I have a family of my own, including two young children, and try to practice much of what I teach to others in my own life and with my children.

In therapy, I believe it is important to feel safe and supported as therapy is a time that a person may be at their most vulnerable. It is my job to promote that feeling of safety and support, and encourage the reflection, growth and changes that has brought someone to seek therapy in the first place.
