About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a Licensed Professional School Counselor in the state of Colorado and Texas. I have over 6 years of experience working with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, and parenting challenges. I am also very familiar with the challenges and issues that come along with ADHD.

My counseling style is sympathetic, open, and interactive using a variety of therapeutic techniques. I tend to use solution-focused brief therapy along with reality therapy depending on the needs of each individual client. I am also pretty laid back and appreciative of humor, especially with younger clients. In my experience, clients get the best out of sessions when they gain insight about themselves and feel empowered to make changes on their own. Creating short-term and long-term goals are important to the process as well as the active participation of the client during each session. I take the time to get to know my clients so that I can individualize my treatment plan to meet their specific needs.
