My name is Holly Duffy, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and I practice Mental Health Therapy remotely online via video or phone, mainly with adults and some youth/teens/children. My counseling style is mostly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which is mainly working on thoughts, behaviors, and coping mechanisms. I also like to integrate if appropriate and/or helpful, Expressive Arts Therapies including but not limited to: hobbies, music, and other skills like cooking, writing, etc. as potential healthier coping skills and self-care management practices also. In addition, I have trained and practiced expressive arts therapy, play, music, and narrative therapies for several years in addition to and integrated with CBT therapy. These have contributed to many positive mental health processes, outcomes, and results. With over 10 years’ experience counseling children, youth, adults, and the elderly facilitating individual, family, and group therapy sessions with CBT and arts therapies, I have worked mainly with anxiety symptoms and also have a great deal of experience working with a wide range of symptoms including but not limited to depression, addiction, OCD, PTSD, and ADHD.
