My style is interactive in helping to identify and resolve your issues. I feel that everyone has positive and negative ways of reacting to stress. I will work with you on finding healthy, creative outlets for your anxiety. I will help you detach from unhealthy patterns in your relationships and life. I believe in working with people from their strengths and starting where they are. I try to encourage my clients to improve their lives and be happy with their choices. I feel my strengths are that I am skilled at assessing issues, being an empathic listener, and helping clients express their feelings and ideas. I give assignments between interesting, insightful, and sometimes fun sessions. I care about my clients and their welfare. I have a background in the employee assistance program field and have knowledge and skills in working with various issues and many diverse clients. Working with multi-disabled clients and the elderly has given me a great deal of experience working with those dealing with grief and loss.
