I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of North Dakota with 14 years experience as a psychotherapist. I achieved my MSW from Florida State University and my BSW from Minot State University.
The majority of my experience is counseling combat veterans and their family members working on trauma related issues which includes anxiety, depression, PTSD, family/relationship stressors, chronic medical problems and employment issues. I am fully trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
My counseling style is very open, warm and down to earth. I meet you "where you are at" while listening to your needs to help determine your goals for therapy. Clients tell me I am caring, compassionate and easy to talk to. I am comfortable leading the way or traveling alongside you on your journey. We will determine the path together.
