About

I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC), licensed in the state of New Jersey. I am also a school counselor with over fourteen years of experience working in an urban school district where 80% of the students receive free or reduced-price lunch. I’ve worked with adolescents and families on a variety of mental health conditions such as, depression, anxiety, anger management issues, and autism.

I was born in India and moved to the US when I was six years old. I speak fluent Gujrati and polite Hindi. In addition to being trained on cultural awareness, I have personal experienced acculturation. I am Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and Certified in Telemental Health Professional.

My approach is multimodal approach tailored to meet your goals with an emphasis on Mindfulness. It takes a lot of courage to seek assistance and I’m here to help you along that journey.
