I am a licensed independent therapist who specializes in mental health and substance abuse. I have a passion for working with adolescents (ages 12-19), adults (ages 20 and up), and families.
I incorporate a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Transition to Independence (TIP), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), along with other behavioral and communication approaches. Additionally, I have extensive training in family psychotherapy and utilize systems therapy in her work with families.
With an eclectic background and approach to therapy, I strive to build positive rapport while assisting clients and their families in making meaningful, long-lasting change. I will encourage you to focus on your strengths and allow them to guide you to the life you desire.
