Hi!
My name is Heidi and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) in the state of Minnesota.

I graduated from Minnesota State University-Mankato with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. I love working with individuals of all ages, couples and families in a variety of areas. Specific interests and training include: Trauma, attachment, relationship dynamics, anxiety, depression, identity formation, life challenges/stress, permanency and adoption concerns, parenting/co-parenting, Sand Play, and play therapy. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitizing Reprocessing (EMDR), Basic Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and completed the Permanency and Adoption Competency program through the Center for Advanced Studies in Child Welfare.

My therapy style is eclectic and I care about tailoring my approach to best fit the person(s) I am serving. I believe every person has their story and truth. My goal is to help people find a way to make sense or order out of chaos and their experiences in order for them to live a life that feels good to them. Personally, I love animals, reading, traveling, camping, and bird watching. I value the role of humor, and play in life and believe there is a space for it in the therapeutic setting as well!
