Hi there! My name is Heidi Reimer and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York (LCSW-R) and North Carolina (LCSW). I am also a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) in New York. I currently have twelve years of experience in the field of Social Work.

Although I consider myself to be eclectic, I tend to utilize several treatment approaches, including Strengths-based, Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness Therapy, and Inner Child Work.

During the therapeutic process, I offer a warm, safe, supportive, and judgement-free environment. I believe in treating everyone with kindness, compassion, dignity and respect. I remain cognizant of the adversity people may have endured over the course of their lives which influences my trauma-sensitive approach in my everyday interactions with others.
