I have been licensed in Wyoming with 8 years of professional work experience. My personal philosophy is rooted in reality therapy and existential therapy. The primary function of counseling is to increase self knowledge and assist the client in their search for meaning. I believe in empowering the client to find his or her own answers to personal challenges. People have the freedom to choose their own path and must also accept personal responsibility for the consequences of their choices. I also believe strongly that people have the power to choose how they perceive their circumstances. My job as a counselor is to help guide the client on their own journey of self discovery and meaning.
