About

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington. I have been providing therapy to individuals for eight years. I have worked with clients with a variety of concerns, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, family issues, and personality disorders. I have worked with adults and adolescents 13 years old and up in outpatient counseling setting, as well as in crisis interventions.

My approach to counseling is one of collaboration, to be used throughout the entire therapy process between client and therapist, where together we identify and work through issues in a safe environment. During the therapeutic process, we will work together to form goals that will be beneficial to you and aid your personal growth, identify personal strengths, and support systems that will be beneficial towards reaching your therapeutic goals and facilitating recovery. My therapy style is warm, empathetic, and client centered. I believe in meeting my clients were they are at in order to aid in helping them work through their problems. My approach to therapy is eclectic. I tend to use aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy, client centered, dialectical behavioral therapy, and psychoeducation.

It takes a lot of strength to not only work through problems in life, but even more strength to come forward and seek help.
