Congratulations on taking the very first steps of creating change in your life! I have been a therapist for over 20 years and have experience in many mental health and relationship concerns. I am licensed in the state of North Carolina. My style is warm and accepting and also pretty direct. I typically use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my treatment. I firmly believe that we need to work on YOUR goals and agenda. I am willing to provide tools and direction to help you meet them. I try to provide an objective, listening ear to help you look at things in a different way.

We can address family and relational problems or mental health symptoms. I specialize in treating trauma, although I know not everyone is ready to process the past. Sometimes coping skills and focusing on the present is more important. That's where you would call the direction we would take.
