Hi there,

Im so glad you are taking this brave step to seek help and healing. Counseling tends to have a stigma surrounding it but I believe it is an incredible strength to address life struggles. I would like to note, I am only offering phone, live chat or instant messaging sessions at this time (no video). Counseling has a wonderful way to bring to light what may have been holding us back for years. I have been in the mental health field since 2003. I have worked in many different areas of the behavioral health field. I started working in a detox/psychiatric unit in a hospital in Scottsdale Arizona, which motivated me to move forward and obtain my graduate degree in counseling. I moved to Boulder, Colorado in 2008 to obtain my Masters degree in Counseling with an Art Therapy focus. Although Art Therapy is certainly not all I am well versed in. I have worked with many different populations and walks of life. I tend to use a more holistic approach to counseling and like to address the whole person, mind, body and spirit.

In this fast paced world, it is often difficult to feel as though we are actually being heard. People often seem to listen but are only waiting for their turn to talk. I look forward to being a person in your life that actually listens and supports you to find your way to healing. Peace is there I promise you. The journey of counseling and self discovery is a beautiful, challenging one and I look forward to supporting you to find your truth.
