Hi! I'm Heather. Before I tell you about myself, let me first say that it takes strength to decide to start therapy so I credit you for taking this first step in that regard.

Now a little bit about me...I am a licensed clinical therapist working in New York. I received my Master's degree from Columbia University School of Social Work. I am empathetic, engaged, and, importantly, a great listener. I have years of experience working with individuals and families who are dealing with chronic/terminal illnesses, grief, loss, depression, and anxiety. I am also trained in family conflict resolution, having worked with individuals, couples and families as a unit on a variety of relationship issues.

So, if you are feeling overwhelmed by the world around you or isolated because there is no one to speak to, I'm here. I pride myself on creating a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where I promise that you will be heard.
