I have spent the past 8 years in private practice focusing on adults seeking support, insight and growth. My passion lies in helping people live a more authentic and connected life in which they do not have to struggle daily caught between the past, present and future. I strive to make telehealth a meaningful and connected experience with the benefit of being in your safe space to process complex emotions. What is your approach to therapy? My therapy style is laid back and yet skills based. Although I have a relaxed approach, I know the importance of going beyond just "talk therapy" and helping clients translate what they learn in therapy into their everyday lives. I utilize attachment and mindfulness based principles to assist people in identifying patterns between the past and the present in order to make connections to current situations. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you? My hope is that each client leaves sessions with hope, reflection, and motivation for change. I aim to provide a safe and supportive environment in which my clients can feel comfortable learning to be vulnerable. Client can feel free to express their most private thoughts, feelings, wants and needs as practice for doing so with their closest family and friends. Weekly sessions allow for progress to be made without rushing to just "Fix" a problem.
