About

Sound therapy involves being able to dive into what is making life difficult. To do so, a solid therapeutic relationship is essential. I want you to come as you are. I provide a safe and non-judgmental space where I will not sit across from you silently and listen; I want to interact with you, ask you questions, and challenge thoughts harmful to you while supporting you through this journey. Coming to therapy or asking for help is hard, and I'm so happy you're taking that step. Together, we will work to develop the best plan that works for you so you can get back to living the life you deserve. I enjoy working with younger adults, 18-25. That time of life is complicated, and they are learning what life is like outside of high school and on their own. Whether they are going to college, moving out on their own, or something else, it can be an overwhelming and challenging time for them. Growing up hard of hearing, I have faced many challenges, which helps me relate to a full range of people and show them the empathy and compassion everyone deserves. I believe I am a strong advocate for others, and I am determined to help in any way possible. I have worked as a crisis counselor at the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline and at a local community mental health and substance use clinic, where I helped people from all walks of life. These experiences have given me more understanding and a passion for helping those struggling with mental health. I focus my love on assisting those with borderline personality disorder and suicidal ideation with my specialized training in comprehensive DBT.
