About
Do you have difficulty with motivation to complete tasks? Do you often feel overwhelmed and don't know where to begin? Do you notice yourself being caught up in overthinking and/or irrational thought? Do you find yourself being self-critical and feeling like you are not enough? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you are in the right place and you no longer need to deal with these things alone. Hello! My name is Heather and I have worked in Mental Health support for almost 20 years. I believe that all of my clients have the capacity for growth and change. Together, we can identify what's not working and get you back to balance. We'll use a solution-focused approach while also addressing things such mindfulness and self-care. We will also explore how your thoughts can have a powerful affect on your behavior and emotions and discover ways to create positive change to those patterns that might be holding you back. As your therapist, my best hopes is that you would recognize the power that you have within yourself to make change, even on the smallest scale. My goal is for you to feel heard, accepted, and believe that I am there alongside you to find solutions to the challenges you are experiencing. In session with me you will find relationship, empathy, authenticity, collaboration, and humor. It would be my honor to walk alongside yourself, your partner, or your child towards healing and change.
