About
I approach all of my clients without any judgments and with the utmost respect, compassion, love, gratitude, and admiration for their interest, courage, and pursuit of mental health and growth as I believe there is nothing more important in life. I integrate a variety of therapeutic methods primarily grounded in contemplative psychotherapy, CBT, DBT, and a solution-focused orientation. It is most important to me that clients feel safe and comfortable, and that a relationship is built on transparency, trust, and active engagement where clients are able to internalize skills, compassion, knowledge, and wisdom in order to lead a fulfilling, meaningful, peaceful, and happy life without any regrets. I have over 14 years of experience providing support to individuals, couples, families, and children spanning the ages of 8-65. I have experience working in group homes, outpatient clinics, schools, in private practice, and in 2015 I organized and lead several holistic healing mind-body international retreats. Out of personal suffering as a child was the understanding that like a lotus born out of the mud we can take all experiences as opportunities to increase wisdom, love, and compassion. My core value in life has always been from young age altruism and I have always been passionate and deeply dedicated to mental and physical health, spiritual growth, and optimal well-being. In my 20’s I was a lot more physically active and ran the Chicago and the Dublin Marathon, taught, and practiced daily Vinyasa Yoga. However, when I was 33 I went to India to experience a different culture and further explore holistic healing. A 10-week trip unexpectedly ended up turning into primarily living in Asia over the last six years to immerse me in living and practicing Ancient Indian Wisdom. Due to Covid, I have recently moved back to the U.S. Although I still love to run, I spend the majority of my time meditating and always try to take time to connect to and through nature.
