About
“Seeking therapy for the first time or starting work with a new therapist can feel like an intimidating task. My goal is to make therapy a safe and comfortable place where both the client and therapist can be their authentic selves. I am a firm believer that change happens within a positive therapeutic relationship in which we collaborate to reach the solutions and life changes you are looking for. Each one of us is on our own personal journey, it is my goal to meet you where you are at and help serve as a guide as we work together to help you reach your personal goals. I believe that therapy is a personal experience, therefore my approach is customized to each of my clients. My treatments are rooted in client centered and cognitive behavioral theories. Based on your individual goals and needs, I may integrate mindfulness based interventions, trauma focused therapy, or cognitive behavioral therapy. Whether you may be working through stress, trauma, relational issues, anxiety, depression, addiction, or simply seeking a greater sense of well-being within your daily life; I am here to support you on your journey. My work in the mental health field began in 2015 through volunteering at a community mental wellness center. I knew my calling was to help others who were experiencing mental health issues. Since then, I have spent time working in the rehabilitation of various disorders including substance use, mental health, and developmental. I graduated from Pacific Oaks College with a degree in marriage and family therapy and specialization in trauma studies. I specialize in working with trauma and post-traumatic stress. I have furthered my training and experience through Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapy training, Managing and Adapting Practice, and years of clinical experience treating trauma. I have worked with clients struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, bipolar, substance abuse and recovery, relationship issues, grief and loss, and behavioral issues
