I am a mental health counselor licensed in Florida with over 12 years of experience working as a psychotherapist. I received my Master’s Degree from St Thomas University in Mental Health Counseling, and my PhD Degree from Barry University in Counselor Education (Specializations: Marital, Couples, Family Counseling/Therapy). I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, phobias, and ADHD. I am intensively trained in treating variety of issues and have been not only practicing and but also teaching for years.
My primary interest in therapy has been in helping people to find and be their true "self". This means looking at who you really are, the relationships you are in, and what stops you from having the life you want. I see therapy as a process of self-discovery: a careful, supportive exploration of how you act, think, feel, and relate to others today and how those all have been affected by your life experiences.
