Hi there, I'm Guadalupe! Guadalupe Larios-Garcia, LCSW. My areas of practice are mild-to-moderate: Anxiety, Depression, Grief, Trauma/PTSD, relationship issues, coping skills, life transitions, school issues, Self-Esteem, and Career Counseling. My approach My therapeutic approach is Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Compassion Focused, Integrative, Play Therapy, Solution Focused Brief (SFBT), Strength-Based, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma Focused. My focus My client focus is providing services to adults, teens, and preteens. My communication style My goal is to provide a space in which the client feels comfortable to be open and share the challenges without judgment, in which support, guidance, and empowerment are found. My journey to therapy My passion for the helping profession became part of my journey at a young age. I found caring educators and a school counselor at a critical time in my life. I was helped beyond measure, and it became my life goal to serve others like I was once helped, in which the tools were provided to continue a healthy life. My goals for you I approach goal setting by exploring the client's desired vision/achievements in a supportive manner. My first session with you In the first session, my goal is to provide a safe space where they are able to share their challenges/obstacles and get a sense of hope for their future.
