I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas going on 5 years experience. I have gone though extensive education and training to obtain credentials such as Nationally Board Certified Counselor and Nationally Certified in Trauma Focused -Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. As your therapist my goal is to assist you in working through past and current issues that have and continue to cause impairments in your life.

I have experience a passion for working with multicultural diverse cliental for individual, marriage, couples, family, and parenting counseling. I specialize in processing complex traumas- PTSD, such as emotional abuse, sexual assault, domestic family violence, natural disasters, adjustments to new life experiences, motivation, and traumatic grief; as well as, anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD, and other mood disorders. I utilize an integrative approach from evidence based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems orientations, solution focused, motivational interviewing, trauma focused, and person-centered.

Building strong rapport and a trustworthy therapeutic alliance is essential for this experience to be fruitful. I work with my clients to create an open, safe, non-judgmental environment where situations, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors can be processed as my client' pace. I believe that its essential to meet my clients' where they are at in life to tailor their treatment preferences so they can have the best possible therapeutic experience.
