Hello! My name is Gretchun Beverly, LCSW. I earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in psychology from Northwestern State University of Louisiana and a Master’s degree in social work from Louisiana State University. I have 10 years of experience in behavioral health and I have worked in inpatient psychiatric hospitals and multiple outpatient behavioral health programs.

I approach therapy from an eclectic approach—this means that you and I will work together to customize services specifically tailored to your needs and wants. Some therapeutic approaches I utilize are: cognitive-behavioral therapy, rational emotive behavior therapy, solution focused therapy, motivational interviewing and person-centered therapy.

As a self-identified Christian, I believe that the service of counseling is one of many blessings from God. At times in life, burdens can become too heavy to carry alone and counsel is needed for support.
