My name is Gregory and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families who struggle with depression, anxiety, mental health disorders, spiritual and faith issues, grief and loss, trauma, anger, marital issues, divorce, and substance abuse/dependence. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you get to the root of your struggles, your trials, and/or your pain from the past, to bring to light the negative patterns from the past that impact the present so you can have more hope, and live a life of fulfillment and purpose. Regarding couples counseling, I believe that most marriages can be restored, renewed, and revitalized, even when spouses are in conflict, unhappy, or demoralized. My first stance is to explore how a couple can repair their marriage and find the path for a healthier relationship through healthy communication and healthy boundaries. Other theoretical frameworks I have been trained in and currently practice are the Evidence Based Practices of Seeking Safety, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I received my first master’s degree In Counseling Psychology at National University, and I received my second master’s degree in Theology at Fuller Theological Seminary. My interests outside of work include spending time with my family, gardening, golf, and reading.
