I am a Licensed Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counselor with 17 years of experience working with adults, children, couples, and families with a wide variety of mental health concerns and needs. I also have specialized expertise in treating trauma-based mental illnesses and injuries and have provided mental health and vocational rehabilitation services to many agencies, including the local foster care system, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and domestic violence and sexual violence agencies. I have served as the Clinical Director for a local non-profit agency developing and implementing Equine Assisted Psychotherapy programs for local Veterans and children in need. I have also served as a therapist for Mental Health Court, the Statewide Intervention Project for Nurses, and a parenting class provider for the family court system. I have been in private practice for nine years and have advanced training in EMDR therapy and Gottman Couples therapy. Therapy is a gift you give to yourself.
