I am a Mental Health Counselor specializing in the treatment of trauma. Symptoms most associated with trauma include: anxiety panic attacks fear anger irritability obsessions and compulsions shock and disbelief emotional numbing and detachment depression shame and guilt I primarily work with women 20 years old and up and have extensive experience working with individuals that have been victims of family and intimate partner abuse and violence. My approach involves creating a safe space to process emotions, heal, find meaning, and become empowered. Processing and healing are unique to each person. I take special care to meet the client where they’re at and collaborate on an appropriate approach. I offer free consultations to ensure we are a good fit and will work with the unique concerns of each individual. I am licensed in Colorado, Florida, Texas, and Illinois, working with clients via teletherapy only. I accept Cigna (Texas) and private pay for billing.
