You are feeling like you have lost control over your life. You look around and it seems like all your choices are being made for you and when you try to go after what you want, you feel defeated before you can even take the first step. It does not have to be this way. In my role as a therapist, I believe it is my job to clear the fog that clouds the path that you want to be on. I believe that everyone is the expert of their own life. We become better at navigating our lives when we learn receive accurate information, remove the judgement that comes with other people's attempt to control our life, and take a clear look at potential outcomes (both good and bad) of our choices. My passion is to empower and not dictate. It is my honor to listen and not judge. It is privilege to explore with you wherever you want to go, whether into the past or looking into the future, and watch each person discover their own strengths and build the life that they want to live while breaking down the barriers inside that hold us back. I am not the therapist for everyone. Some clients just need someone to talk to and share their feelings. However, that is not me. I care about your feelings because I know they are fuel for change. I am the therapist for the client who knows they want to something better but may not know how to get there. I put the wheel in your hand and we hit the road to your goal. I am direct, realistic, creative with problem solving...and sometimes profane. I do love a good mental health road trip!
