Gloria completed her Master's of Social Work at SUNY Stonybrook and has 15 years of experience providing counseling. She is skilled in providing structured therapy for children with ADHD and therapy focusing on social skills development with children. She also has experience providing individual counseling to the adult and geriatric population struggling with chronic and acute mental illness. Gloria completed her training at elementary and charter schools in the Long Island area. Her theoretical orientation is integrative, and she uses strength- based and/or cognitive behavioral therapy. Depending on the unique needs and goals of her clients, she incorporates a broad range of modalities and techniques. Gloria provides a comfortable environment by using warm, low lighting, scented candles, and calming decor.
