Hello! My name is Gloria Alcala. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, in the state of New York, with over six years of experience as a counselor and life coach.

In my years of experience, I have worked with clients that have presented concerns with anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, parenting problems, professional and career challenges, depression, blended family adjustments, low self-esteem, lack of confidence, and mindfulness (awareness of self and others & emotional intelligence). I have counseled individuals, families, and couples, of all ages and backgrounds, in a variety of settings.

My counseling style is heartfelt and collaborative. I believe in treating every individual with respect, compassion, and understanding - without stigmatizing labels or judgments. My approach combines solution-focused and cognitive-behavioral counseling. I will tailor our conversations and treatment plan to meet your specific needs.
