I am a human being, a mother, a wife, a daughter, a sibling, a bilingual-bicultural psychotherapist, and a meditation teacher. I have worked in the field of helping people improve their lives for 29 years. I graduated as a psychologist in my birth country Colombia. I came to the USA in 2000; completed a Master in psychology, and obtained my license as a Mental Health Counselor. I have worked for many years with adults and families with multiple cultures, beliefs, and religious orientations. My experience ranges from an intervention for someone with a little bit of anxiety/depression to someone experiencing life-threatening and significant loss events.
My treatment approach is Client Center, a Coach with Mindfulness/Existential perspectives and some Psychodynamic views.
I can help you because I have done this work with hundreds of people, who shared their lives with me and gave me the opportunity to connect with them. I have witnessed amazing human transformations. The beautiful part is that the transformation comes from you, from who you are, and from your own resources. I am only an instrument, a vehicle for you to move to a better and happier place.
