Hello! My name is Gina and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). I received my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in 2017 and have since worked in community mental health in the outpatient and partial hospitalization levels. I currently work in a small private practice setting. I have experience working with adults, adolescents, children, families, and parents.

As a counselor, I strive to meet my clients where they are in their healing and understanding of themselves. You are the expert on you! I believe that therapy must be a collaborative process, and I pride myself on building a strong, trusting, therapeutic relationship with those I serve. At the end of the day, I am just a friendly face with eager, listening ears, who spent a few years learning how to better help others!

My primary modality of treatment is client-centered and based in attachment theory. I have experience utilizing cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed techniques. I have additional training in addressing trauma, and hold a certification as a Child/Adolescent Trauma Professional.
