I believe that each client deserves to be met where they are at in their lives, thus each client warrants individualized and compassionate treatment. With my empathic support, I aim to provide clients with a safe space to achieve their personal goals as they see fit to living a life conducive to their needs and wants. I have been working as a licensed mental health counselor and maintain a private practice on Long Island, NY for over 3 years. I also was a staff therapist in an intensive outpatient program for the treatment of eating disorders providing individual and group counseling for 6 years. I have extensive experience working with the eating disorder population, as well as those suffering with depression, anxiety, relationship issues and life transitions.

I received a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Fordham University and a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University. I am also certified in the Fundamentals of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in the treatment of depression and anxiety; as well as postgraduate certification in Nutrition and Integrative Medicine for Mental Health Clinicians, both from Adelphi University School of Social Work. I am licensed to practice in New York and am also a National Certified Counselor with the NBCC, as well as a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider through the Mental Health Integrative Medicine Institute.

My goal is to establish a strong therapeutic relationship with each client as the foundation for change in my therapeutic practice. I counsel clients with an eclectic, strengths-based approach out of respect to each client's individuality, drawing largely from cognitive-behavioral, behavioral, rational-emotive behavioral, person-centered, and solution-focused therapies.
