About

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of North Carolina with 13 years of experience with groups, couples, families and individuals. I have worked with individuals with depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma. I also bring with me 20 additional years of social work experience where I worked with individuals and families coordinating community resources. As a result of my vast experience in the social work profession (i.e. hospice and palliative care, home health, dialysis and managed care) I am able to understand the importance of the continuum of care.

My counseling style is one where I will be empathetic and I will listen. I will hear you. I will demonstrate a willingness to help clients do the work needed to progress and heal. I will treat clients with respect. I will draw from cognitive behavioral, humanistic and psychodynamic therapies.
