About
Life challenges do not discriminate. When they enter your life the struggle is the same. It does not matter race, culture, class, or age the stress is the same.
As a therapist, I believe each client struggling with challenges has a story to tell and needs a non-judgmental listening ear. The story of life brings a variety of fears, expectations, victories, losses, feelings of grief, and possibilities for making new meanings. Challenges not only affect the individual, but also impacts intimate relationships, families, and communities. Both mental and physical health suffers as one navigates towards restoration. I believe healing is possible and recovery is a process. I support, educate and counsel clients by focusing on their unique feelings they may be experiencing. The focus is placed on helping clients develop and strengthen the tools needed to cope and effectively face whatever life brings.
