My name is Geraldine Alexis. I was born and reared in Omaha, Nebraska. I have been afforded the opportunity to work with indigence, low income individuals, and minorities to assist them in rebuilding their lives. Recently, I was a Military and Family Life Counselor where I traveled to different installations to counsel service members enlisted in the Army, Air Force and Marines, and their families.

In addition to the aforementioned work history, my practical experiences comprise of over 20 years of service in the caring field to include volunteer work. Six years as a school counselor. Four years counseling military families. A probation group facilitator for two counties in NE. I offered my services as a presenter to provide self-help information in the church arena which equipped me with the skill set needed to foster healing and growth among a diverse group of people. Which, in turn, assisted individuals in working towards living their “best life.”

Furthermore, I hold dual licenses as a LPC/LIMHP and LADC. I attained a Master of Science in Agency Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. My additional education beyond a master’s degree comprises of an Elementary and Secondary School Guidance Counselor endorsements from Creighton University coupled with two years of law school with Concord Law School. I completed my Alcohol and Drug Counseling coursework at Bellevue University. In addition, I am licensed in nine states which are the following: NE, FL, IA, KS, NM, OH, TX, UT and VA.
