I am a licensed social worker and practicing outpatient therapist in Texas with over 7 years of diverse professional counseling experience. For nonprofit and private agencies I have assisted many kinds of people, including veteran, homeless, substance use, and criminal justice clients. My experience includes work with individuals and groups on issues of stress and anxiety, depression, trauma, coping with addictions, and co-existing disorders. I invite exploration of internal and external impacts on thinking and functioning, but emphasize the development and use of practical coping skills and strategies to manage in-the-moment stressors and symptoms. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
