About

Hi there! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Florida that utilizes a systemic perspective to provide a non-judgmental, empathetic, and active approach to therapy. As a clinician, I help each client expand on their self-awareness and draw on their strengths to promote healing, positive change and empowerment. I believe in assisting each client author their preferred life story that instills mental, physical, and social well-being while creating opportunities of self-expression via an integrative approach to therapy.

Throughout my experience, I have been afforded the opportunities to flourish as a dynamic therapist in working in non-profit and for-profit settings with different client populations presenting with unique needs. From working in a dual-diagnosis residential setting to thriving in the healthcare system, my background consists of working with teens, young adults, couples, and families navigate through what can initially appear as an uncompromising situation. I have worked with clients dominated by narratives of disempowerment and have guided clients unearth their most authentic selves. I tailor therapy to the needs of the client. I embrace a collaborative approach when working with clients who are combating mental health issues, substance use disorders, trauma, anger management, relational conflict, depression, anxiety, and life transitional concerns.

Via encouragement, exploration, and difficult conversations, I have been able to help clients achieve the difference they desire. I am fluent in both English and Spanish which enables me to work with different cultural backgrounds and facilitate therapy in a language that best fits the client. Therapy can be the navigating force that helps you re-author your life. While utilizing a relational-systemic lens and facilitating an open safe space, I collaborate with couples, families, young adults, and tweens in exploring difficult conversations focusing on strengths, commitment to change, and new meaning.

Once being a client myself, I know that taking the initiative to seek growth via therapy is a conscious decision. Pursuing support is already a step in the right direction. If you would like to collaborate on navigating your goals, difficult conversations, or support on presenting issues, I’d be interested in co-creating a positive and newfound narrative.
