My name is Gene Jefferies. I graduated from Florida State University with a MS in Mental Health Counseling. I have over 10 years of clinical experience in counseling. I use CBT, and solutions focused therapy techniques mainly, but can adapt to my client's needs. I also worked in a rural mental health clinic in Nevada. I currently reside in Montana, and work with children who struggle in a school setting. I have a great sense of humor, which is one of the skills I use in my professional activities. I have worked as a substance abuse counselor in prisons and private inpatient facilities, as well as a mental health counselor in a prison. I enjoy sports, both playing and watching, and the occasional video game.
