About

Hi. My name is Gayle Coulton. I graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 1996 with a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling. I am also a State Qualified Supervisor. I have 26+ years of clinical experience. I worked for 24+ years in a crisis unit. I also worked as a Clinical Director in a Substance Abuse Day Treatment Center and a Behavioral Analyst with children on the autism spectrum. Some of my goals as a Therapist include however, are not limited to assisting Clients in developing meaningful behavior changes, offering coping strategies for navigating through life's struggles. As a Therapist, I would be actively listening to your concerns from a purely nonjudgmental stance, recommending to assist in getting you through whatever you are facing. I have several years of experience working with individuals who have; anxiety, depression, addictions, sexual dysfunction, insomnia, career changes, familial issues, relationship challenges, gender identity issues and LGBTQ, eating orders, personality disorders, and adjustment disorders that are typically brought on by a major life changes. I offer a individualized, safe, compassionate environment to explore you hopes and dreams, make a plan to reach your goals, and become the person you truly want to be and are meant to be. I also have a very good understanding of chronic pain and openly welcome these individuals. I am curious to understand the Client's worldview, thought process, history of behavioral issues/patterns, stresors and how they all contribute the way a person feels. My therapeutic style is warm, nonjudgmental, empathetic, and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with the utmost respect and compassion. It takes courage to reach out to engage in Therapy to acquire a more fulfilling life. If you are ready to take the step, I am here to listen to you, guide you, and empower you. My passion has always been helping others and I really look forward to helping you. You can also be matched with me through our sister site at email. Work with me!!
Thank you.
